Having ended in movie-form I will always state proudly that I can take and leave what I want from the film. Like the delusions remain forever! I really need to read the comic though. Since it predates the movie, I'm sure it's worth the read. And Darkhorse, which I love dearly. Dr. Horrible is one of my fave Joss works to date. I look forward to more of it. It still ripped our hearts out, but it was good and the right ending, no doubt about it. I hadn't intended that, but hey, it gave me the most hits on the blog so far. I have seen all of what exists of The Guild right now and I love it to DEATH. What? But then figured out that know, there is very much still life in dear Mr. Wheddon. Which is a good thing, so we can continue cursing him in a cheerful sort of manner. Maybe (and I'm shuddering as I type this) it's a good thing Firefly was canceled (heresy, heresy, heresy) because we don't have to watch him slowly mess with our beloved cast for years on end. Simon and Kalie get married and have lots of sex and babies, as do Mal and Innara And this way we can argue that that event in the last 20 minutes of the movie didn't happen. Kind of like how I maintain that Torchwood: Children of the Earth does not exist. Yep- you are the queen of fix-it-fics, and I am the princess of self delusion when it comes to our fandoms, eh? But back to Firefly, I agree with you that there would be no way for Firefly to return at this point and not suck. People in stories are always a little bit odd when they come back from the dead, and I see no reason that stories in people would not be the same. (Incubus 101 is not included in this, because it didn't die, or finish or anything, it just went on summer hiatus) And thanks for including the Emmy sequence of Dr. Horrible. I love NPH, and Nathan Fillion. (In a non-creepy, those are good actors who make me laugh and smile sort of way...) That show demonstrates Weddon's a) inability to finish a season without putting a character through emotional hell, and b) just how brilliantly funny the man is. So, just to finish the blog, in the way I couldn't not help but pick up from you, dear... CURSE YOU JOSH WHEDDON! I'm sure I'll be using alot of pictures of us from over the years. Dressing up was always my favorite game as a child, so it's no wonder I love cosplay. And yes, Joss surprised me with a few of his credits too. He's just one of those people who has his hand in everything but only gets credit for some. And if you think about it, can't you just tell Joss wrote Resurrection?
